Mrs. Heather Luebbert
Mrs. Heather Luebbert earned her B.S. in Journalism/Public Relations, along with her minor in English, from Missouri State University. She previously worked for the State of Missouri, helping to plan events, such as Earth Day. She also organized and helped run the publication warehouse for the department. An interesting fact, is that she worked as a D.J. in college! She enjoys keeping our library looking fresh, relaxing, and inviting through the various seasons. Mrs. Leubbert has two children, one daughter who graduated from St. Peter, and one son enjoying third grade. Mrs. Luebbert enjoys letting the kids play with puzzles during her classes. She believes that by allowing students the freedom to move around, they will be better able to concentrate, once they return to their classroom! She also enjoys sharing amazing facts from non-fiction and other types of trivia.
Mrs. Betty Haake
Mrs. Haake has been volunteering in St. Peter Library since her children went to school here. She continues to come back year after year because she loves children and loves seeing them grow into great readers. She has passionately maintained our collection, keeping shelves in order, repairing books, and covering donations all of these years. We really don't know what we'd do without her help, kindness, and loving spirit. Mrs. Haake enjoys reading any fiction or nonfiction to children that will help them make good choices and spark their love of reading. She really enjoys working one on one with students and mentoring.
Mrs. Sara Ann Denson
Mrs. Denson finished her BA in less time than it took her to get through middle school. (Ask your son or daughter how she pulled that one off.) She worked for several years as a freelance writer and her book Christmas Turtles was published in 2006. She has two sons. Samuel graduated from St. Peter last year and Gideon is currently in sixth grade. Mrs. Denson's favorite book to read to the kids is the book Savvy by Ingrid Law. She tries to read the first chapter of a different book each week so that kids get a sampling of what's available in lots of different genres and reading levels.
